WHAT IS BLOG?

Blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art (artlog), photographs (photoblog), sketchblog, videos (vlog), music (MP3 blog), audio (podcasting) or sexual topics (Adult blog), and are part of a wider network of social media. Micro-blogging is another type of blogging which consists of blogs with very short posts.

The first step is to think what the main content or topic of your blog. If you want many people visit your blog, choose any latest hot topic or any information needed or anything that a lot of people have interest in it. Next, choose blog hosting service that you want to use. Here the list of them that that I know…

Choosing blog hosting service is important because some of blog hosting service company disallowed blogger from advertise from their own blog, some of them are not popular and some of them are not user friendly which mean difficult to use by user.

In this tutorial, I will use blogspot as a “teaching medium” because to me blogspot is the most easy to use and user friendly blog hosting service. If you find the better one, then you can use it as you like.
